Pump Engineer (High-Pressure Systems) Competitive Pay (Based on Experience)
Location:
Duncan, OK (OKC) Full-Time | Mid-Level (3+ Years Experience) After applying, please call me directly at 316 448 4486 Design. Test. Optimize. Build High-Performance Pump Systems! Are you a mechanically driven engineer passionate about designing and improving heavy-duty equipment? We're looking for a Pump Engineer with experience in high-pressure systems to help develop, test, and enhance critical oilfield equipment. What You'll Do + Design and improve high-pressure plunger pump components (valves, seats, plungers, power-end systems) + Support full product lifecycle: concept, design, testing, validation, and field support + Analyze performance including fluid flow, vibration, corrosion, and wear + Lead testing and validation efforts; turn data into design improvements + Perform troubleshooting and failure analysis on existing equipment + Create and maintain drawings, specs, and BOMs + Partner with manufacturing and operations to ensure practical, buildable designs + Present technical findings and recommendations to internal teams and customers What We're Looking For + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) + Experience with high-pressure pumps (plunger pumps preferred) + Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software + Strong understanding of mechanical systems and fluid dynamics + Experience with product development, testing, and data analysis Bonus Skills (Preferred, Not Required) + Oil & gas or heavy industrial equipment experience + Reliability engineering or predictive modeling exposure + Experience with failure analysis and performance optimization Work Environment Work on critical, real-world equipment used in demanding environments Strong growth and visibility across engineering and operations teams Hands-on design + testing + field involvement Collaborative, fast-paced engineering culture Opportunity to make a direct impact on product performance and reliability + Mix of office-based design and hands-on testing + Exposure to lab and field environments + Fast-paced, project-driven engineering team Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Oklahoma City, OK. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
