We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design of small components and assemblies for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, and precision optical systems. This role is ideal for candidates with early-career experience who have strong proficiency in CAD tools and relevant design exposure.
Duties :
Design and develop small components and assemblies using CAD software. Support engineering efforts for sensor, electronic, electromechanical, or optical systems. Create and modify 3D models, drawings, and documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and production needs. Apply engineering fundamentals to meet design requirements and timelines.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior mechanical design experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. Proficiency in Siemens NX. High experience with at least one CAD platform: SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo. Understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing considerations.
Preferred :
Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Exposure to design for production or production line support. Basic knowledge of shock, vibration, or stress analysis.
