WHAT YOU'LL DO
As part of the Engineering team, the Design Engineer I will work with Engineers to analyze, research, and design components or a system of components to develop or improve Aircraft products while enhancing performance, reducing cost, or facilitating manufacturing operations. The Engineer will assist in creating engineering drawings and maintaining electronic project design folders. This position requires knowledge of a variety of engineering principles from mechanical, electrical, or other engineering disciplines.
Other Essential duties include:
Design, develop and test aircraft parts and components Write reports documenting activities and analyses Will work in Engineering and in conjunction with other departments to accomplish goals and objectives
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM 1-3
years of experience as aDesign Engineerpreferablyin aviationor similar
Note:
You must have at least one year of full-time experience working as an Engineer Aerospace experienceis preferred Experience withSolidWorks is required Mechanical Design Experience is required SolidWorks Enterprise PDM helpful Bachelor's degree (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering Strong knowledge ofcomputer-aided design tools Strong mechanical design aptitude and capability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellentanalytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy Must beflexibleto adapt to changing requirements Ability to work well independently or in a team environment Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship now or in the future
