We are seeking an experienced Stamping Die Designer Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience designing progressive stamping dies. Associates degree required, 4 year engineering degree preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered. Proficient with 2D CAD, 3D experience preferred. Experience with Auto CAD and SolidWorks a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of the metal stamping industry and industry practices.. Knowledge of CNC and Wire EDM technologies. Major Job Duties Design high speed progressive stamping dies for complex parts. Review customer specifications and/or drawings for manufacturability. Coordinate and consult with others regarding the design of tooling components. Process data for use in Wire EDM and CNC machining. Create and modify internal drawings for inspection and other purposes. Provide technical assistance during assembly and production.
