$100,000•$125,000 per year Job Details•We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Project Engineer to join our growing team in the scientific industry. This is a permanent role that will play a crucial part in the planning, execution, and finalization of engineering projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The successful candidate will work with a team of professionals dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and applications. Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks, facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents. Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables. Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical device Proven experience with Design History Files (DHF). Exceptional technical writing skills. Strong leadership, decision making, and communication skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Proficient in project management software. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
