Job Description
Company Overview VascuTech Medical LLC is a leading medical device manufacturing company dedicated to developing Class I, II, and III devices for OEM customers. With a strong focus on vascular access solutions, we design and produce essential devices such as catheters, dilators, and introducers to improve patient care. Summary We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative team at VascuTech Medical LLC. In this role, located in our state-of-the-art facility, you will contribute significantly to the design and development of critical medical devices that enhance vascular access procedures. Responsibilities Design and develop mechanical components for vascular access devices using SolidWorks. Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards throughout the product development process. Create detailed schematics and technical documentation for manufacturing. Conduct root cause analysis to resolve engineering issues effectively Setting up and/or revising manufacturing processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product testing and validation efforts. Participate in the fabrication of prototypes and assist in the transition to production. Assisting the manufacturing operations in problem solving and continuous improvements. Writes

protocols compliant with existing SOP's with assistance from more senior personnel Drives machine/equipment efficiency through cycle time reduction, waste elimination, tooling improvements, and changeover reductions Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences, Plastics or related field is required along with practical experience Proven experience in mechanical design within the medical device industry is preferred. Experience with Mold Tooling Design is preferred but not required Familiar with implementing, maintaining, analyzing data to react to various production performance metrics and KPIs Knowledge about plastic injection molding process is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Solid understanding of mechanical systems and fabrication processes.
