As an Advanced R D Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on a variety of projects and programs for exciting new technologies in the field of Alternative Position, Navigation, and Timing Systems. You will use your expert knowledge of systems design, integration, and architecture development to support breakthrough product development. You will serve as the focal point for systems architecture development and integration with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists; as well as spearheading our MBSE adoption strategy. You will also support new business opportunities and pursuits with an integrated sales, business, aYou will report directly to our Senior Manager of Engineering, Advanced Projects and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.nd technical team. - New Product Design & Development
- System Design, Development and Documentation
- Aircraft architecture integration
- Process development and refinement
- Deployment of Model Based Systems Engineering tools and practices
- Supporting the estimation of customer proposals and the writing of technical volumes
- Technical reporting and customer interface
- Coordinator between interdisciplinary teams
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics Minimum of 3 years of experience working in systems design in an aerospace R D environment or similar field Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, and customersWE VALUE
- Master's Degree in Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of avionics systems, including flight control systems, navigation systems, communication systems, and electrical systems
- Knowledge of Inertial, GPS, or Alternative PNT sensors
- Familiarity with avionics hardware and software development processes, including design, development, verification, and validation
- Experience with Digital Engineering Concepts, MBSE, Digital Twin, Digital Thread

The annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $144,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
