Benefits:
Medical, dental, vision Sterling Engineering is looking for an Associate Project Engineer in the distribution space. This opportunity is remote from home.
Job Duties:
Support project-related tasks by assisting peers with design reviews Lead scope review and project kick-off meetings as needed Conduct peer reviews of calculations and cost estimates Correspond with internal and external stakeholders Assist with process refinement initiatives Notify Project Engineers / Project Managers when appropriate Apply working knowledge of engineering codes, standards, and client expectations Perform intermediate CAD design corrections and updates Identify changes in scope of work proactively Support project critical path and task management Follow standard operating procedures and ensure timely completion of assignments Coordinate with permitting agencies Complete assignments within allowable hours
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET-accredited university Experience level equivalent to Senior Design Engineer capability preferred Prior experience in the natural gas industry required Strong technical comprehension and communication skills Ability to manage schedules, priorities, and multiple tasks efficiently Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Software:
