Job Description

Mid-Level HVAC/Plumbing Engineer Florida (Remote/Hybrid Flexibility) A growing, Women-Owned MEP engineering firm is seeking a Mid-Level HVAC/Plumbing Engineer to support ongoing projects across commercial, government, and private sectors. This role works closely with senior engineering leadership and offers strong opportunities for professional growth, flexibility, and long-term career advancement in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Design and draft HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using AutoCAD and/or Revit Perform engineering calculations and develop designs in accordance with applicable codes and standards Coordinate with electrical, structural, civil, and architectural disciplines Assist in the preparation of construction documents, plans, and specifications Support layout and design of systems including ductwork, piping, and equipment placement to avoid conflicts Conduct field visits, site surveys, and assessments as needed Provide construction support including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and punch list assistance Requirements Associate Degree in Mechanical Design/CAD or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum 2 years of relevant HVAC, plumbing, or fire protection design experience Knowledge of applicable building codes and industry standards Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Experience with Trane Trace, Elite Fire, or Energy Gauge is a plus Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to manage deadlines and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment Must reside in Florida Preferred Skills and Traits Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of professional integrity and accountability Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving Compensation and Benefits Competitive salary with performance-based bonus opportunities Flexible work schedule with remote work options 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees Retirement plan with company matching contributions Paid vacation and holidays Professional development and continuing education support Get job alerts Share Copied to clipboard Related roles Senior/Staff Engineer
