Hybrid A nationally respected MEP consulting firm specializing in highly technical building systems is seeking a Mechanical Designer with 3-7 years of experience to join our Atlanta office. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex and innovative projects across healthcare, aviation, laboratory, and other mission-critical environments. We are looking for a technically capable professional who thrives in a collaborative setting and is eager to grow within a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems for healthcare, aviation, laboratory, and other technically intensive facilities.

Prepare construction documents, specifications, and load calculations.

Collaborate with internal engineering teams and external stakeholders including architects and contractors.

Participate in site visits and field investigations to support design development and construction administration.

Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications:
3-7 years of experience in mechanical design for building systems.

Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit experience preferred.

Strong understanding of HVAC design principles and applicable codes.

Experience with healthcare, aviation, or laboratory projects is highly desirable.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule: In-office Monday through Thursday, remote work on Fridays.
