Mercury Marine , a division of Brunswick , is actively hiring a Mechanical Designer to join its team in Fond du Lac, WI. This hybrid position includes 3 days in office and 2 days remote. As a Mechanical Designer , you will create engine or outboard component models and drawings for new programs and current product improvements. In this role you will drive the execution of mechanical component design through 3D CAD modeling. Job Duties:
Design and develop mechanical components using PTC Creo, including injection-molded plastics, molded rubber, sheet metal, and cast/machined parts. Develop component and assembly drawings in accordance with Mercury specifications, applying proper GD&T. Create supporting CAD deliverables to validate form, fit, and function, including solid models, drawings, assemblies, layouts, overlays, and motion envelopes. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, engineering, and packaging teams to resolve component interfaces and system integration challenges.Qualifications:
Associate's degree with emphasis in mechanical design 8+ years of related design work Proficient in PTC Creo solid modeling and drawing creation Strong understanding of design utilizing injection molded plastics, molded rubber, sheet metal, and casting/machining processes Named as one of America's Best Midsize Companies, Brunswick offers the opportunity to build meaningful products with a team that values innovation and growth.
