work directly with engineers, fabrication, and assembly teams Major investments in our manufacturing facility and equipment Flexible schedule and ability to work from home as needed No travel What You'll Do As a Mechanical Detailer, you'll support engineering projects by creating accurate manufacturing documentation that helps ensure successful fabrication and assembly.
You Will:
Create detailed fabrication and assembly drawings from engineering models and BOMs
Develop part, weldment, and assembly drawings in SolidWorks
Apply dimensions, tolerances, detail views, and PowerBuilt drafting standards
Maintain drawing revisions and documentation within the PDM system
Collaborate with engineers to document special fabrication and assembly requirements
Review drawings for clarity, accuracy, and manufacturability
Support production teams by answering drawing-related questions and resolving documentation issues
Assist with engineering documentation updates and revisions throughout project lifecycles
Maintain organized project files and documentation records
Communicate effectively with engineering, fabrication, and assembly personnel
What We're Looking For:
Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent experience in drafting, mechanical design, or a related field
Proficiency in SolidWorks, including part modeling, assemblies, and detailed drawing creation
Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing tolerances
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and mechanical designs
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Excellent organization and documentation skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Dependable, self-motivated, and eager to learn
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
