Mechanical Engineering Intern Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and innovative Mechanical Engineering Intern to support daily operations including project work and development activities. This internship offers hands-on experience at the intersection of mechanical engineering and product development providing exposure to real-world engineering challenges and solutions. Position Responsibilities Assist in the development of equipment drawings and supplier documentation review Support departmental innovation initiatives Collaborate with cross-functional teams on projects and other department initiatives Document technical work, findings, and recommendations in a clear and organized manner Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Minimum Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience with, or coursework in, programming and software development Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Knowledge of engineering software tools is preferred Special Requirements This is a hybrid position Requires on-site presence a minimum of three (3) days per week Additional in-office days may be required based on project needs or team coordination Belong, Connect and Grow at KBR At KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
