You will spearhead initiatives in digital twins, design automation, parametric modeling, and simulation data management to significantly reduce design cost and cycle time. You will serve as a subject ‑ matter expert and thought leader, developing automated and AI ‑ enabled analysis tools that will accelerate design and improve quality. You will oversee digital ‑ engineering infrastructure, partnering with IT and tool ‑ support teams to ensure reliability and scalability. In this role, you will guide and mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross ‑ functional teams to define mechanical requirements, ensuring high ‑ quality, integrated mechanical systems and assemblies. You also will represent Honeywell in industry forums and work with software vendors to influence future engineering tool capabilities. You will apply earned ‑ value ‑ management practices to maintain cost and schedule performance and verify that process ‑ improvement initiatives deliver targeted savings. You will report to the Sr. Mechanical Design Engineering Manager and work from the South Bend location on a hybrid schedule.
