Description Project Engineer, Mechanical:
Driving Technical Excellence from Concept to Production Are you an experienced mechanical engineer who thrives in leading complex projects and collaborating across disciplines? Join Park Industries as a Project Engineer, Mechanical , where you'll oversee the technical execution of engineering projects from concept through production while ensuring designs meet customer, quality, and business requirements. In this role, you'll combine hands-on mechanical design expertise with project leadership, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Customer-facing teams to deliver innovative, differentiated products. Requirements What You'll Do As a Project Engineer, Mechanical , you'll lead the technical and engineering execution of projects while maintaining accountability for performance, cost, and delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
Project & Technical Leadership Oversee all technical aspects of engineering projects from concept through production, ensuring designs meet customer requirements and business objectives Lead mechanical design and analysis efforts with a focus on machine structures, gearboxes, rails, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics Coordinate cross-functional teams to identify and implement designs that provide product differentiation and competitive advantage Design, Analysis & Reviews Facilitate concept and design reviews to ensure appropriate input and alignment across impacted stakeholders Apply engineering fundamentals, analysis tools, and best practices to support robust, manufacturable designs Utilize simulation, FEA, root cause analysis, DFMEA, and other tools to support design decisions and issue resolution Project Planning & Metrics Develop and manage project schedules, product costs, budgets, and key performance metrics to meet overall business requirements Track progress and proactively address risks or technical challenges that could impact scope, timeline, or cost Customer & Cross-Functional Support Support customer service, field installation, and sales teams through training and technical expertise as needed Provide timely resolution of customer issues and collaborate with Manufacturing and Sourcing to support production and cost objectives Experience & Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required) Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) Experience 10+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience (required) 2+ years of project leadership or project ownership experience (preferred) Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Experience designing CNC, robotic, or similarly complex machinery (preferred) Familiarity with ERP/JDE systems (preferred) Travel Ability to travel up to 10% As a Project Engineer, Mechanical at Park Industries, you'll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with a hybrid work arrangement that combines travel and remote work flexibility with onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office. Pay Transparency Statement In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting rate for this position ranges from $100,000.00 to $130,000.00. Please note that the range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. Additionally, the availability of benefits and programs may vary depending on the hire date, employment type, and hours worked.
