Job Description

A boutique MEP consulting firm specializing in building systems, technical design, and collaborative project delivery is seeking an experienced engineer to join its close‑knit team. The firm prioritizes learning, mentorship, and long‑term professional growth alongside high‑quality engineering work. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for: Leading the design and development of mechanical systems across a diverse range of building projects Managing projects through all phases including design, coordination, and construction support Collaborating closely with engineers, architects, and clients to deliver high‑quality solutions Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and contributing to team development Balancing technical design work with project management responsibilities The Senior Mechanical Engineer or Associate should have the following: Approximately 10+ years of mechanical engineering experience in building systems Strong technical design capability with hands‑on project delivery experience Project management experience and the ability to oversee multiple assignments Enjoyment of mentoring and supporting the growth of other engineers New York PE license strongly preferred, though non‑PE candidates with exceptional technical backgrounds will be considered Benefits & Perks Hybrid schedule with one remote workday each Monday Summer schedule with every other Friday off and extended holiday weekends when applicable Performance‑based bonuses paid quarterly Opportunity for ownership buy‑in at the associate level after approximately one year If you are looking for a collaborative environment where your experience is valued and your career can grow long term, we encourage you to apply.
