Job Description

Our client, which specializes in Rail Signaling Solutions, is a subsidiary of international Fortune 500 technology company. They are a provider of traffic management, planning, train control, and signaling systems and services. Further, the company's additional business sectors include high speed rail, main lines and freight, mass transit and light rail, computer-based interlocking systems, construction planning, supervision and traffic control, as well as a variety of rail related components. Must have at least one year of real-world 'hands-on experience using LabVIEW in a work place setting.
Accountabilities:
Ensure the implementation of assigned actions as per the manufacturing action plan (i.e., audit, failure analysis, improvement plan, etc.) Work with internal and external test and IT resources to ensure test software and data systems (based on SQL database server) are operating correctly with data maintenance as required. Communicate issues to R&D department for assigned activities and submit forms and markups for documentation updates. Support analysis and continuous improvement of production test yield, working to identify root cause and propose solutions. Support technology transfers of test processes across the global supply chain. Support definition of test requirements, and test process creation for new products as part of new product introduction team. Ensure the implementation of new test process and tools as per assigned action plans.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience with NI LabVIEW and Test stand Proficient with Microsoft 360 applications - Word, Excel, Teams, etc. Basic understanding software writing and editing experience/skills. Problem anticipation and solving techniques, strong at troubleshooting. Knowledge of electronics and analyzing electrical schematics. Mechanically oriented, able to use common tools for disassembly & reassembly of various pieces of test equipment.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Previous internships within with a manufacturing environment (e.g., printed circuit board manufacturing and assembly, electromechanical assembly, casting, forging, machining, tooling, and fixture design) Strong skills in Microsoft Windows based pc hardware and software (98, XP, 7, 10) Networking setup and troubleshooting
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, computer science, software, or other appropriate Engineering science disciples with preference for electrical engineering Junior or Senior standing or enrolled in a master's program.
Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour
