This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for Electro-Mechanical components .The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, integrating new component designs into existing systems and addressing turn backs while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments .
Responsibilitie s:
Typical responsibilities include engineering calculations and analysis, component design, cost analysis, test and documentation of a wide range of elevator component s.

The candidate must have a strong background in mechanical engineering, ability to work in a cross-functional team environment, ability to deliver assigned commitments on tim e.

Strong mechanical engineering backgro undSelf-motivated personality with a strong desire to continue learn ingSelf-paced engineering work with ownership and responsibility of assigned ta sksTime management to meet agreed upon commitme ntsEngineering problem solving ski llsComponent, system modeling and design with Creo (Pro Engineer) or similar softw areEngineering calculations including Mathcad or similar softw areMechanical structural analysis including Ansys or other FEA softw areExperience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and W ordProficiency working in product development proc essProficiency in using PLM/PDM system capable of storing documentat ionKnowledge of manufacturing process es.
Educat ion:
BS degree in mechanical engineering or MA/MS degree with 1 to 3+ years' work experie nce.
