  • Mechanical Engineer I
  • to provide engineering support for mechanical components and systems. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, evaluating design improvements, integrating new components into existing systems, and resolving technical issues. The ideal candidate will excel in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and consistently deliver results aligned with cost and schedule commitments.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • + Perform engineering calculations, analysis, and component design + Evaluate and maintain product integrity while identifying opportunities for improvement + Integrate new component designs into existing systems + Conduct cost analysis and support cost reduction initiatives + Develop and execute testing procedures and documentation + Address technical issues and support resolution of product-related challenges + Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, design, and quality + Ensure all assigned tasks are completed on time and meet project requirements •Required Qualifications•+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Master's degree with 1-3+ years of experience) + Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles + Proven problem-solving and analytical skills + Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines + Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow •Technical Skills & Experience•+ Experience with component and system design using •Creo (Pro/ENGINEER)•or similar CAD software + Proficiency in engineering calculation tools such as •Mathcad•or equivalent + Experience with •finite element analysis (FEA)•tools such as •ANSYS•+ Knowledge of •manufacturing processes•+ Familiarity with •product development processes•+ Experience using •PLM/PDM systems•for document management + Proficiency in •Microsoft Office•, especially Excel and Word •Key Competencies•+ Strong attention to detail and engineering accuracy + Ability to work independently with accountability for assigned tasks + Excellent collaboration and communication skills + Adaptability in a fast-paced, project-driven environment •What This Position Offers•+ Opportunity to work on innovative mechanical design projects + Collaborative and supportive engineering environment + Professional growth and development opportunities + Competitive compensation and benefits Olsten Staffing has been matching great candidates with great opportunities for over 60 years!

  • $40.
