Software Test Engineer

Description We are currently recruiting a Software Test Engineer within our Software QA team. This role is based at our North American headquarters in Fort Mill, South Carolina and is the result of continued success, and sustained growth. The chosen applicant will verify software modules within quantum and quantum informatics products.

Primary Role:

• Design verification strategies, develop verification plans, and perform verification of medical device software.
• Develop/Configure automated testing programs.
• Design and write software for hardware and function testing.
• Work with Software Development Engineers to create appropriate user acceptance software test cases.
• Ad-hoc testing of new development.
• Execute test plans.
• Plan and execute regression testing and identify reproducible bugs.
• Generate detailed bug reports and track fixes through to completion Additional Skills & Qualifications Required Skills
• Hands on experience with PCBs (testing and troubleshooting)
• Professional experience testing software
• Experience with advanced features of Microsoft Word
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with a natural ability to focus on attention to detail.
• Must be logical with well-developed problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn new skills quickly.
• Familiarity with working with electronics using Oscilloscopes etc. Desired Skills
• Physics/mechanical understanding of flows, pressures, etc.
• Experience with Atlassian Jira Education
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Experience
