We are a specialized forensic engineering and building diagnostics consulting firm serving clients throughout the Southeast. Our team investigates building failures, evaluates mechanical systems, performs moisture and building envelope diagnostics, and provides expert engineering opinions for property owners, attorneys, insurance carriers, contractors, and developers.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and uncovering root causes rather than performing repetitive design work. This role offers the opportunity to investigate mechanical system failures, evaluate building performance issues, conduct field assessments, and contribute to forensic engineering projects across commercial, residential, industrial, and institutional facilities.
What We Offer:

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain. 3+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC systems, building systems, forensic engineering, facilities engineering, or related fields. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Ability to conduct site investigations and field inspections. Experience with building systems, HVAC equipment, moisture-related issues, or facility assessments is highly desirable.
