Job Description:

However, as a global company, MAHLE offers many job opportunities outside of the U.S. which can be found through our employment website www.jobs.mahle.com Your Contribution As an Mechanical Engineer , you will troubleshoot, analyze, schedule, mechanical design, and part specification. Research, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems by performing the following duties. Researches and analyzes data such as root cause and failure analysis to help reduce downtime Takes historical data, and compiles and analyzes it to offer suggestions to improve overall machine reliability and performance Reviews the PM system to help improve machine performance and reliability Works with manufacturers and vendors to help solve problems with their equipment Develops procedures for machine repair processes to standardize rebuilds, repairs, and PM's Sources parts for better prices and reliability Reviews parts usage to determine problem areas Participates in task teams Assist with SAP related issues Participates in maintenance, and repair activities to obtain optimum utilization of machines and equipment Evaluates and offers input on design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions Use of CAD to provide drawing for new or modified mechanical/structural parts Participates in and/or manages projects related to machinery and/or automation Also assists with the daily repairs as needed Your Experience & Qualifications Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university majoring in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 2 years related experience and/or training Applicant should be knowledgeable in the areas of industrial hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC machine controls, robotics, blueprint interpretation, and precision measurement techniques.
