Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Mechanical Systems Engineer to work on site in Austin, TX and support the strategy and introduction of products based on unique and highly differentiated capabilities of a foundry for semiconductor microsystems and defense electronics companies. Their mission is to advance the state-of-the-art in critical semiconductor domains such as advanced packaging, and in the process to help restore U.S. leadership in semiconductor manufacturing. They are developing cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing technology that will define future roadmaps of semiconductor devices including logic, memory, 3D packaged devices, including thermal management, etc.

Responsibilities:
Manages research projects, including defining and tracking project goals and milestones and supervising of the work of research team members. Designs, fabricates, assembles and tests equipment systems. Researches and coordinates the procurement of various equipment and sub-systems. Compiles reports on costs and inventory levels. Skills and Requirements 5 + year of experience in nanofabrication, precision machine design, mechatronics, systems and controls, instrumentation, or roll-to-roll systems development. Prior experience with standard aspects of equipment development, including CAD software, and modeling and simulation software. Goal-oriented and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Master's degree or PHD in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, controls, precision systems engineering, or other relevant discipline.
