Job Description

Must have CAD experience This position is fast paced, hands on and the ideal candidate will be willing to learn and develop a lasting career. Extralloys is seeking a strong operations minded leader who is looking for a long-term career with a growing company. A successful individual will bring their strengths and experience in leadership and operational excellence to the team each day. This company offers an opportunity to further cultivate skills over multiple departments as well as aid in the expansion and implementation of new departments. The ideal candidate will have a background in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or Material), proven success as a leader and a take charge attitude. Experience with engineering drawings, reading blueprints, and CAD would make someone the ideal candidate.
Essential Job Function:
  • Knowledgeable of production machinery, material, and processes
  • Generate manufacturing costs and tooling needs for new and recurring products
  • Generate product and tooling designs, including manufacturing tolerances
  • Review product quality to improve quotation accuracy and find opportunities to improve
  • Ensure a safe, efficient, and effective use of all supervised resources
  • Ensure compliance to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
  • Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals with manager/supervisor
  • Plan, assign and inspect all work orders to meet customer specifications and drawing tolerance
  • Review available planned work orders for completeness and correctness; refine and finalize labor, materials, parts, methods, and priorities
  • Provide support and leadership in troubleshooting customer orders and requests
  • Follow established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe and effective working environment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Material) Required
  • Strong analytical skills and proven success in project management
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong Leadership and Interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, clients and vendors

$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
