Job Description

ENGINEERING INTERN

StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Teams for the 2026 summer term. As an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence. Over the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: Partner with existing production engineering teams to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Dallas, TX Students will work with experience engineers on project types that include Repair Industrialization, Tools and Fixture Design and Manufacture, and Process Improvement Join our team today and build an aviation career you're proud of!
Job Duties:
Students will be involved in organizing, updating and compliance activities with the DFW Repair Center tooling which will include the following: Updating tooling Inventory with each of our Component Repair Team Upload product line tooling documents into "Master Control" database. Update tooling identification to reflect appropriate product identification standards. Create tool drawings as required. Create tooling equivalency documents for locally designed tooling. Update tooling calibration requirements. Update tooling locations into "Master Control" database. Other projects as assigned. Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Completed engineering courses at the Junior level Knowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word Excellent communication skills Must be authorized to work in the US Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Drawing skills - Autocad, Auto desk, Solidworks, etc. A strong desire to learn and be a contributing member of a team Strong self-motivation and organization skills
Internship Details:
The internship term will be - Summer 2026 (beginning mid-May) The length of the internship is 10-12 weeks Located in Dallas, TX; •students must have own lodging. •
