Job Description:
We are actively seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers for a contract opportunity with a leading organization developing advanced robotic unmanned vehicle systems. This role offers the chance to work on innovative technologies involving robotics, automation, heavy equipment, hydraulics, and complex mechanical systems. ????
Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and evaluate design proposals, specifications, and technical requirements
  • Design and develop mechanical and electromechanical systems for robotic platforms
  • Create detailed designs using SolidWorks, Pro-E, or CATIA
  • Perform FEA analysis, stress calculations, and engineering validations
  • Participate in design reviews and maintain engineering documentation
  • Support fabrication, installation, testing, maintenance, and system optimization
  • Evaluate field installations and recommend design improvements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and software systems ?

Required Qualifications:
? Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred) ? 5-7 years of mechanical engineering experience ? 5-7 years of product and machine design experience ? Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, Pro-E, CATIA, and CAD design tools ? Experience with FEA, GD&T, FMEA, and stress analysis ? Proficiency with Matlab, Mathcad, or similar engineering tools ? Strong understanding of manufacturing processes ? Experience working with hydraulics, motors, gearing systems, and heavy equipment ? Basic software development knowledge preferred ? Familiarity with patent processes is a plus
