RATE RANGE
$90.00 - $110.00 Hourly OT40 W2 (no health benefits/no paid PTO while on contract)
LOCATION
Onsite in Fort Worth, TX 76108 (no relocation package)
SECURITY CLEARANCE
Active Secret Security Clearance issued by the Department of Defense
DURATION
12+ month contract or contract to Hire •No C2C, we can NOT work with outside agencies/vendors, and we can NOT do 1099-US
CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position is for a mechanical design engineer. The candidate will be required to perform mechanical and harness routing design activities for the installation of flight test equipment and data system components. The candidate will be responsible for releasing engineering drawings, work instructions, supporting airworthiness documentation, monitoring fabrication activities, and supporting aircraft modification.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or related discipline 3-5 years of
CATIA V5
experience 3-5 years of 2D/3D mechanical design experience in an aerospace environment Previous experience with instrumentation (flight or ground) preferred Previous experience with the F-35 program-specific tools and processes
PREFERRED SKILLS
Mechanical and Electrical Systems 6+ years
EDUCATION REQUIRED
BS+16 YRS or
MS+14 YRS
