Job Title:
Senior Mechanical Engineer Job Description We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering Team. In this role, you will provide product-specific technical expertise and conduct engineering activities to ensure the performance, manufacturability, serviceability, quality, and profitability of our products. Responsibilities Document product intent and verify conformance to customer requirements. Translate customer needs and value opportunities into timely, cost-effective, and tangible concept features and products. Perform conceptual and detailed product design. Verify product fitness-for-purpose, cost-effectiveness, compliance, design for service, design for manufacture, and risk mitigation. Create and maintain customer product documentation. Provide product engineering support for all operational activities. Provide manufacturing instructions for efficient production. Offer engineering support to stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Develop project and operational plans and monitor activities to ensure compliance with time, cost, and quality objectives. Document best practices and experiential learning. Execute continuous product improvement and cost reduction initiatives. Continuously improve engineering drawing packages, work instructions, and technical instructions. Support manufacturing engineering activities. Conduct additional tasks as required. Essential Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD. Strong technical communication skills. Proficient in standard office software. Ability to assess design for manufacture and design for service. Ability to assess structural integrity using classical structural engineering calculations or finite element analysis. Experience in designing, conducting, and documenting scientific experiments and prototyping activities. Project and resource management skills. 5+ years of experience in designing mobile oilfield equipment and/or power generation equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline. 10 years of relevant engineering experience. Registered as a Professional Engineer or Engineer in Training in the State of TX. Work Environment The work environment is an office setting, Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Granbury, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
