Project Engineer

Project Engineer Job Description The role of the Project Engineer involves reviewing project proposals, specifications, and inspection reports to determine engineering requirements. The engineer will assess the feasibility and procedures for accomplishing each project. This position will share responsibilities with five other engineers to help execute each project successfully. You will report to the Project Manager and collaborate with designers and drafters to ensure the project meets customer specifications. Report to the Project Manager and work with designers and drafters to ensure the project aligns with customer specifications. Essential Skills Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. 5+ years of experience in project engineering. Mechanical Engineering degree required. Experience with SolidWorks design or equivalent design project. Knowledge of 3D modeling and reviewing customer specifications. Familiarity with rotating equipment such as pumps, mixers, heat exchangers, blowers, and compressors. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to read and draft specifications. Proficiency in P&ID, specification review, and calculations. Work Environment The Project Engineer will work onsite with the engineering team from Monday to Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Katy, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $49.00/hr.
