Job Description

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design and test of all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery.

    Plano, TX
  • What's the Job?
  • + Provide mechanical machine design including, but not limited to sizing and selecting all mechanical components, completing bills of materials (BOMs), and maintain up-to-date maintenance and technical documentation (manuals).
+ Designs products such as machines, instruments, controls, or robots. + Works with a design team to create design sketches, layouts, and plans. + Uses computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create preliminary and detailed drawings of the product.
  • What's Needed?
  • + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
+ Five years of related experience preferred. + Proficient with computer-assisted design (CAD) software (i.e. AutoCAD, inventor or equivalent). + Experience with equipment and plant layout design. + Experience with pneumatic system design and documentation.
