Mechanical Engineer (EIT or PE)

  • (LOCALs preferred)

Direct hire (Full time)
Salary:
100K
  • 110K /Annum (DOE) if they have their PE 120K
  • 135K / Annum Looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer who does not need any training or ramp up time on actual engineering work.
5-7 yrs exp with a PE would be ideal.
Required skills:
  • B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (F.E.) examination
  • Certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under strict deadlines
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Exceptional written and verbal skills
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of and experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of building codes
  • Previous experience in a MEP consulting environment
  • Previous experience designing MEP systems for schools
  • Experience in the design of HVAC systems, temperature controls, central plant design, and indoor air quality, as well as other mechanical systems for commercial buildings
