Job Description The position consists of sustaining process activities, as well as supporting process engineering projects for the CMP processing areas, and the selected individual will report to the CMP process engineering organization. A qualified individual should be highly motivated, capable of independent work and working knowledge of the fab. Working knowledge of the CMP tools and the operational details of the areas are highly desirable characteristics. This is meant to be a compressed shift position, however, the selected individual may be asked to work overtime, or make modifications to his/her schedule to receive training and best accommodate the needs of the fab once released to the position. Job Description The position is for back-end nights, which start at 5:45PM and end at 6:00AM, every Thursday - Saturday, and every other Wednesday (compressed work week). This Job Is For You If Main responsibilities are performing, consumable changes, preventative maintenance and corrective repairs on semiconductor equipment in the CMP module Problem solving using procedures and technical documentation to resolve problems in non-functioning tools in the CMP module Participate in activities to develop, document, and improve existing semiconductor equipment maintenance procedures and systems; working from procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, and diagrams Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to written instructions and vendor documentation Assist in analyzing and resolving recurring maintenance problems Use of test and diagnostic equipment to perform system verification and troubleshoot Interfaces with Equipment Engineer, Process Engineer and area Manager/Group Leader to identify and resolve equipment and process-related issues supporting production Participate in the activities of the area shift pass-downs, and work on set priorities based on production requirements
Job Requirements Must Have:
Associates of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering Technology, related field of study, or equivalent military experience Working knowledge of the CMP tool sets is desirable. Good knowledge of fab environment and clear understanding of the operational details. Minimum of two years of technical experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment and must have demonstrated working knowledge of electro-mechanical systems operations and maintenance and be able to work with minimal assistance Basic to intermediate knowledge of AC/DC circuits including fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits analysis.
