Responsibilities Work with architects and other consulting engineers for facilities of various building system designs including but not limited to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and fire protection. Willingness and desire to be a part of a team. Ability and inclination to participate in project design from start to finish under the supervision of a Project Engineer. Understanding of the need for work to be completed on time and under budget. Ability to develop clear and concise written documentation. Competence and readiness to support the project team by contributing to detailed systems design documents. Ability to provide detailed design calculations and make design decisions. Qualifications A degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET-accredited university is required, and it is preferred that the applicant should have an interest in the construction and building industry, with knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and be capable of working with building owners and architects and coordinating with other consulting engineering disciplines such as the electrical, structural & civil engineers.
