Job Description:

Insight Global is looking for Engineering Technicians that support a wide variety of hands-on tasks in electronics, mechanics, electromechanical systems, and optical devices. There are multiple levels for this job based on previous experience. L1: In this position, you will assist in the testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of components, equipment, and systems. You will work from schematics, engineering drawings, manuals, and both written and verbal instructions to help ensure equipment performs accurately and reliably. L3: In this role, you will assist in the design, construction, testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and components. You will work from engineering drawings, schematics, manuals, and written or verbal instructions while supporting the operation and testing of complex machines or computer-based systems. L4: In this role, you will independently support the design, construction, integration, testing, fault isolation, repair, calibration, and maintenance of equipment, components, and devices. You will work from schematics, engineering drawings, manuals, test procedures, and written and verbal instructions to diagnose issues, identify root causes, verify functionality, and ensure systems operate reliably and meet quality and performance standards. This role will be a 6-month contract-to-hire role located onsite in Salt Lake City.
