The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of hypersonic aerothermodynamics and related modeling techniques with a proven ability to model, simulate, and analyze hypersonic systems. Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizen
• Master's Degree (or Bachelor's degree with 4 years related experience) in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in DoW or IC programs
• Active TS/SCI with willingness to complete a CI Polygraph
• Strong knowledge of hypersonic aerothermodynamic phenomenology
• Proficiency in using high-fidelity CFD modeling applications
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced R D environment
• Strong communication skills capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and departments, while also being self-sufficient when needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced experience in GEOINT processing research and development
• Extensive experience with academic, government, or commercial CFD tools and workflows
• Expertise in modeling and simulating advanced foreign weapon systems' aerodynamic performance and signatures
• 6+ years of relevant experience in the field
• Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics with coursework and/or research in the fields of hypersonics, physical gas dynamics, or numerical methods
