Newell Corporation is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Arlington, WA. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or early-career engineers who want hands-on experience in manufacturing, mentorship from experienced engineers, and the chance to grow quickly. What You'll Do As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll be involved in end-to-end manufacturing projects from concept through production. You'll get exposure to machining, fabrication, and cross-functional collaboration while building a strong foundation in engineering within a manufacturing environment.
You will:
Support the design, development, and production of mechanical components and systems Assist with project quoting, planning, and execution from start to finish Perform engineering calculations and problem-solving for real-world applications Create or support CAD models and detailed drawings (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) Collaborate with fabrication, machining, and engineering teams to bring designs to life Help review designs for accuracy, quality, and manufacturability Participate in project planning and cross-functional meetings Build strong communication skills by working with internal teams and customers Learn and apply industry standards, safety practices, and manufacturing processes We're looking for emerging talent with a strong foundation and eagerness to learn: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field Internship, co-op, or hands-on project experience (academic or personal projects welcome!) Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn Interest in manufacturing, fabrication, or machining environments
Pay:
