40.0 Overview Responsibilities Create, modify, and update 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks Assist in mechanical design activities including part design, assembly modeling, and basic engineering calculations Prepare detailed engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and supporting documentation Vault, manage, and maintain drawings and models within a Product Data Management system (e.g., PDM, Vault, or similar) Support engineering reviews, design changes, and configuration control processes Collaborate with senior engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design accuracy and project alignment Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards, design practices, and documentation workflows Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related discipline Experience with AutoCAD 2020 or newer Experience with SolidWorks 2020 or newer, including part modeling and drafting Familiarity with product data management systems (such as SolidWorks PDM, Autodesk Vault, or similar) Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents Strong attention to detail and organizational skills System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
