We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is eager to be a part of a growing company. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, reliable, and team-oriented. Office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Mechanical Engineer Job Summary:

The Mechanical Engineer reports directly to the Engineering Manager. This person will be responsible for the mechanical design of Flownamics product line including 3D and 2D CAD file creation. Continuously looking to make improvement to our existing products and creating Engineering Change Notices to implement those improvements. In addition, this position will support production in our 3D printing area as needed (starting prints, resolving print errors, machine maintenance, etc).

Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :

Create CAD models and drawings for components and assemblies for products from prototype through production. Hold technical design reviews to support product development Develop and maintain a structured Bill of Material (BOM) Create Engineering Change Notices (ECN) Develop validation documentation Coordinate with manufacturing engineering and vendors to ensure products are manufacturable Collaborate with product development team on projects with customers and collaborators. Meet all project milestones and deadlines

Mechanical Engineer Basic Qualifications :

5+ years experience of Mechanical Design experience. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field Proficiency in 3D and 2D CAD (SolidWorks preferred) Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record Experience with 3D printers

Mechanical Engineer Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with design for Sheet Metal fabrication a plus Experience with design for CNC machining a plus Must have a strong mechanical aptitude Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently A self-starter

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
