Justin Kuehn Description Franklin Electric is seeking a Summer Intern (June-August) who is interested in a career in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will be exposed to various aspects of the Product Engineering team. You will be immersed in the inclusive environment and given responsibilities that will promote growth for future professional experiences.

You Will Have the
Opportunity To:
Work on projects that span across multiple functional areas. The assigned projects will allow significant opportunity to develop cross functional knowledge and general business acumen. Take part in new product development projects, sustaining engineering projects, and root cause analysis opportunities. Participate in "Lunch & Learns" with the Executive Team where you will have the opportunity to ask questions of leaders across multiple functional areas. Present an "End of Term" summary/presentation to Senior Leadership on your assigned projects. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Junior or Senior working towards a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical degree (required). 3D CAD experience (i.e. PTC Creo, SolidWorks, Inventor) is preferred.
