The person filling this position will work with a team to develop an understanding of the needs and requirement for new system applications and then delivering a solution satisfying those requirements.
Role Responsibilities:
Work with team to design new systems for production / lab use. Generate system documentation to define the design of the system, including bills of materials, electrical schematics, layout drawings, and preventive maintenance procedures. Procure components and materials for new systems. Construct new systems and lead the installation of the systems in their final designated area. Assist in the troubleshooting and deployment of new systems. Train staff on the utilization and support / maintenance of new systems. Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Associates degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field plus 4-7 years experience in a manufacturing environment Familiarity with electrical control systems, metering equipment, and electrical circuits Ability to read and generate electrical schematics and facility drawings Computer skills including CAD, spreadsheets, and word processing. Familiarity with SolidWorks a plus Programming experience (PLC's, Python, LabVIEW, etc.) a plus.
