Job Description

Job Title:
Mechanical Engineer Position Function:
Supports the design, development, and improvement of products and manufacturing processes within the facility. This role collaborates with engineering, production, and suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effective, and timely product development. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate engineering documentation.
Responsibilities:
To include but not limited to the following
  • Assist in the design and development of new products such as pressure, temperature and liquid level monitoring and controlling devices.
  • Conduct testing and validation of new designs, prototypes, and process improvements.
  • Support production teams by troubleshooting manufacturing issues and implementing engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical concerns, support qualification of new parts, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Prepare and update engineering drawings, 3D models, and technical documentation in accordance with company standards.
  • Researches and analyzes data such as customer design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine feasibility of design or application.
  • Prepares design sketches, layouts and schematics as part of a design team.
  • Performs analytical calculations, modeling, analyzes data, prepares reports, and makes comparisons with similar proven designs.
  • Performs dimensional and functional inspection of prototypes.
  • Evaluates pre-production field installations and implements design modifications to eliminate undesired performance and to enhance desired product features.
  • Train production on assembly and test of new products.
Job Specifications:
  • B.S in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in manufacturing or product development (internship or co-op experience is acceptable).
  • Solid knowledge of AutoCad system.
  • Good mechanical, analytical, and technical skills.
  • Good administrative, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor or team player.
