Mechanical Design Engineer

Overview Volta Fabrication is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer to support design and manufacturing of gas process equipment and engineered skids. Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical and process designs from customer requirements
• Develop shop drawings and collaborate with fabricators to design equipment optimized for efficient manufacturing
• Create drawings, P&IDs, and engineering documentation
• Support CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), calculations, and code compliance
• Specify materials and support procurement
• Provide manufacturing, project, and technical support
• Assist with troubleshooting, product development, and occasional field support (Travel) Qualifications
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience
• SolidWorks or similar CAD experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
• Self-starter with problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Will consider a Hybrid work schedule for the right candidate, salary commensurate with experience.
