Job Description:

Our client, a well-known industrial manufacturer, is actively hiring a CAD Designer to join their team in Tallassee, AL! This role will be fully onsite; all candidates must be local. •This will be a 6 month W2 contract with benefits offered!• In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with sales staff and customers to develop drawings from sketches, blueprints, existing drawings, and photos, along with both written and verbal instructions. They are looking for someone who has experience with CAD software, ideally SolidWorks.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain product documentation and bills of materials Work with all departments within the plant to guarantee drawings are accurate Utilize drafting resources to create new tools that enhance efficiency, including hardware and software design Produce drawings based on customer, company, and vendor specifications while adhering to corporate drawing standards

Skills:

Associate's degree in drafting design or equivalent 1-3 years of drafting experience Prior experience with SolidWorks is a plus Experience in the HVAC industry is ideal Motion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
