Job Description
List Industries, a leader in the locker and shelving industry, is looking for a lead AutoCAD Drafter.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review all shop drawings for accuracy prior to sending to customers for approval Resolve design problems. Prioritize workload to meet team needs and committed project deadlines Make detailing modification/improvements to existing drawings to meet requirements Establishing and maintaining drafting and documentation protocols as needed Coordinate project workflows with other functional areas of the organization Review and analyze specifications. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Prepare layout drawings that detail plans and specifications. Provide details and component descriptions. Draft technical details. Consult technical handbooks and tables while in drafting phase. Make modifications/improvements to existing drawings to meet requirements. Create and store drawings electronically. Qualifications 5 years drafting (AutoCAD) Managerial/supervisory experience High school graduate or equivalent Must be proficient with AutoCAD- Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years experience preparing clear, complete, and accurate detail drawings
- Candidate must exhibit a professional attitude and analytical problem-solving skills, must have willingness and desire to learn and take on new tasks
- Candidate must be personable, capable of working in a team environment and independently and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills -This position is on-site at our Deerfield Beach location.
