Full-time Job Summary:
L.E.B.S. Electric is seeking a detail-oriented Drafter to support commercial projects. The Drafter will produce accurate drawings and layouts based on project specifications, engineer direction, and field conditions. This role works closely with project managers and field personnel to ensure drawings are constructible, coordinated, and up to code.Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and revise electrical drawings including: Power and lighting layouts Conduit routing and equipment layouts Circuitry Drawings Panel schedules Interpret engineer drawings, specifications, and markups Coordinate electrical drawings with other trades (mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm, low voltage) Incorporate field redlines and as-built conditions into final drawings Maintain drawing standards, layering, and file organization Assist with material takeoffs and quantity tracking as needed Ensure drawings comply with NEC, local codes, and project requirements Support project managers and foremen with updated drawings throughout constructionRequired Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong spatial reasoning skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Comfort in working with large systems that require abstractionRecommended Qualifications:
