We pride ourselves on delivering unmatched craftsmanship and personalized customer service to truck owners, operators, and dealers across the country. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated Mechanical Draftsman / Design Technician to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Draftsman / Design Technician supports product development and production by creating accurate 3D models, drawings, and technical documentation for our semi-truck accessory product line. This role will work closely with our team to turn concepts into manufacturable designs that integrate smoothly into our production process.
Key Responsibilities:
Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using CAD software (Autodesk Inventor preferred) Generate production-ready drawings with dimensions, materials, and specifications Translate concepts, sketches, or existing parts into accurate, buildable designs Collaborate with internal team members to refine and improve product designs Ensure designs are practical for fabrication, assembly, and real-world use Maintain organized CAD files, revision history, and product documentation Assist in troubleshooting design or fitment issues during production Contribute to continuous improvement of existing products and processes Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment to produce prototypes and parts Preparing files for 3D printing and evaluating printed components
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience creating 3D models and technical drawings Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or similar CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent experience accepted) Strong understanding of manufacturing and fabrication processes (sheet metal experience is a plus) Ability to take a concept and turn it into a clear, buildable design Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Degree or formal training in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field Experience with sheet metal design, CNC, or fabrication environments Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Monday-Thursday 7:30-5:00 Friday 7:30-11:30

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
