Full-time Job Title:
Drafter 1 (Electrical Emphasis)
Job Overview:
We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Drafter 1 with a focus on electrical work. This entry-level role is designed for someone with foundational knowledge and a passion for electrical drafting. The successful candidate will work closely with professionals to create accurate electrical drawings, utilizing tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the specialized field of electrical drafting.
Responsibilities:
1.
Electrical Drafting:
  • Create accurate and detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, specifically Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Collaboration:
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to understand and contribute to electrical project requirements and objectives.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions into draft designs under the guidance of senior team members.
3.
Electrical Documentation:
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation related to electrical designs and revisions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and project documentation focused on electrical systems.
4.
Quality Control:
  • Participate in the review process of drafted electrical plans to identify and rectify potential errors or inconsistencies.
  • Contribute to quality assurance processes to maintain high standards for electrical deliverables.
5.
Learning and Development:
  • Stay informed about industry trends, standards, and advancements in electrical design.
  • Participate in professional development and training to enhance skills in electrical drafting, including gaining proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam features and best practices.
Qualifications:
Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Basic proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam for electrical drafting. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and precise drawings. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Requirements:
Entry-level candidates with a strong interest in electrical drafting are encouraged to apply. Minimum of 2 years of experience in previous position. Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies and best practices in electrical design.
