Job Description
Drafter Applies knowledge of CAD software to create drawings for custom products such as conveyors and machines. May be involved in creating drawings, work order packets, CNC nesting files, and owner's manuals. Major Responsibilities Ability to work on assemblies, subassemblies, single components, and detail designs Create and release work order packets Create and publish spare parts drawings and manuals Support parts department with requests for drawings Ability to work on plant layouts Coordinate with in-house departments in developing project drawings and manuals Strong problem-finding and problem-solving abilities with regard to mechanical design issues and root cause analysis. Skills & Experience Technical Proficiency
- Strong working knowledge of drafting software such as Solidworks Attention to Detail
- High precision in verifying measurements, scale, and notation tolerances to prevent production or fabrication errors Communication
- Clear verbal and written communication skills to articulate design constraints and solutions across multidisciplinary teams.
Pay:
$21.00- $26.
