Piping Designer

In this role, you'll deliver high‑quality piping designs for complex, multidisciplinary projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and project managers who value quality, teamwork, and integrity. This is a hands-on role for a piping designer who enjoys ownership, technical challenge, and seeing their work turn into build‑ready solutions. What You'll Do Develop piping designs from planning through final construction documentation Produce accurate PFDs, P&IDs, layouts, and detailed 2D/3D drawings Apply codes, standards, and best practices to deliver compliant designs Resolve design challenges, manage revisions, and maintain drawing quality Collaborate across disciplines to support scope, schedule, and budget goals What You Bring 7+ years of progressive piping design experience (degree flexible based on experience) Strong background in piping layout and detailed design for complex projects Advanced skills in AutoCAD, Plant 3D, CADWorx, and Excel Solid understanding of piping design principles and industry standards Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills Why You'll Love It Here Employee‑owned culture with long‑term stability and pride in the work Designers are respected, supported, and trusted to lead Collaborative environment with strong mentorship and career growth Emphasis on quality, innovation, and doing work the right way Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
