position in Billings, MT We are seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafting Technician to join a growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong technical drafting skills and verifiable experience who takes pride in accuracy, attention to detail, and producing high-quality drawings.
Pay:
$23•41/hour DOE (Depending on Experience)
Schedule:
Full-Time Job Duties:
Create, revise, and maintain detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD Interpret sketches, specifications, measurements, and engineering/construction plans Prepare accurate layouts, plans, and drafting documents for projects Collaborate with project managers, engineers, estimators, and field teams to ensure drawing accuracy Make revisions and updates to drawings as project needs change Ensure all drawings meet company, industry, and project standards Maintain organized project files and documentation Review plans for accuracy and identify discrepancies or drafting conflicts
Requirements:
MUST have verifiable AutoCAD drafting experience Strong proficiency in AutoCAD software Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical documents, and specifications High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work independently Reliable transportation and dependable attendance preferred Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, architectural, or related drafting environments is a plusWe are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and experienced —this is not an entry-level position .
